Rugby is a team-based sport that trains speed, strength and stamina. The objective of the game is to score a try in the opposing team's try area. The guys focus primarily on contact rugby. The girls focus on touch rugby.

Held annually in February

Touchdown is SMU Rugby's signature event targeted at SMU Undergraduates to encourage team bonding through sports as well as an avenue for the understanding and appreciation of Rugby as a sport.
